Description: Attendees:
Delegates must have a minimum of 6 months practical experience of scaffolding operations following the successful completion of their CISRS Part 1 training. You will need to be able to climb up and down ladders safely and also be capable of handling scaffold boards and steel scaffold poles. You will need to supply a copy of your CISRS Part 1 certificate or card endorsement prior to attending your course.
Objective:
This course is designed for delegates who want to progress from their CISRS Part 1 to become a qualified scaffolder. The course is aimed to give you knowledge, skills and understanding of erecting, altering and dismantling basic scaffold structures. Completing of NVQ level 2 Access & Rigging operations with site observation and work based evidence to gather once you have completed your CISRS Part 2 training course.

Induction NVQ level 2 Access & Rigging Operations
Performance Standards (BS EN 12811 and TG20:13)
Basic Independent Tied Scaffold (theory and practical)
Truss-out Scaffold (theory and practical)
Bridging with prefabricated beams (theory and practical)

Roof saddle scaffold (theory and practical)

50 Question Test Paper (plus a 25 question mock at the end of the first week)

Progression:
Delegates must complete 6 months on site experience and achievement of NVQ Level 2 before progressing onto the CISRS 1 Day Skills.
