Description: This 3 day course provides both the knowledge and understanding required to air tightness test simple and non-simple buildings except those defined as defined as large buildings with an envelope area over 80,000 m2, high rise buildings with more than 15 storey and phased or zonal handover buildings The course includes a combination of both presentation and exercises on the first 2 days and the 3rd day is dedicated to examinations. The course content covers the minimum knowledge and understanding identified in the National Occupational Standards for a level 2 tester and this covers areas such as: The air tightness testing test standards The test procedure and multi-fan testing Building regulations Hands on practical sessions 3 tests undertaken on a non-domestic building Multi-fan full building test Compartmentalised building test Two Zone tests Examinations The following items must be brought to the course: Laptop Scientific calculator or a smart phone
